Born to a German father and a Paraguayan mother, Mariela Schwarz Montiel carries creativity and a passion for discovery in her blood.
Having spent her childhood in Paraguay, she then proceeded to study in Germany and has since achieved a wide professional trajectory across many different countries of the world.
Her indigenous origins inspired and motivated her to create Antolina, a project that bears her maternal grandmother's name and which is intended to support the indigenous community of her home country.
Each braid and weave is handmade, spreading culture and telling a story with every turn of the fabric.
